Corferias (Corporación de Ferias y Exposiciones S.A.), Colombia's principal trade fair organizer and mixed-economy company with shareholding by the District of Bogotá and the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, published its 2024 Management Report for the Ordinary General Assembly of March 31, 2025. Scope: fairs and exhibitions organized by Corferias in Bogotá, Medellín, and Barranquilla; no Colombian government body publishes national aggregate exhibition statistics. In 2024, Corferias organized 42 fairs and exhibitions, including 15 of international caliber, drawing 7,423 registered foreign visitors from 26 countries. Operational revenue reached COP 286,301 million with EBITDA of COP 70,286 million, a 9% year-on-year increase. The Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogotá (FILBo) attracted 596,705 visitors and 530 exhibitors; the Salón Internacional del Automóvil drew 152,257 visitors and 137 exhibitors. SOFA registered 189,453 visitors and 514 exhibitors, while Expopet attracted 61,131 visitors and 256 exhibitors. A Fedesarrollo economic study commissioned by Corferias estimated a national economic contribution of COP 17.7 trillion (1.3% of Colombia's GDP) and 62,184 employment positions generated by Corferias-organized events.
