The 39th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI), organized by Indonesia's Ministry of Trade, was held October 9–12, 2024, at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, Banten. Note: all statistics pertain solely to this single annual event and do not represent the broader Indonesian exhibition industry. The event brought together 1,460 exhibiting businesses and 41,488 total visitors, including 8,042 foreign buyers from 140 countries. All figures were officially published as of 12:00 WIB on the closing day, per the Ministry's standard reporting methodology. Total prospective transactions—the aggregate value of trade agreements and investment commitments signed during the event as officially tallied by the Ministry—reached USD 22.73 billion, surpassing the target of USD 15 billion. Goods and services transactions accounted for USD 19.59 billion and investment transactions for USD 3.04 billion. India was the top trading partner at USD 7.46 billion; coal was the leading product category at USD 7.34 billion. The expo was officially opened by President Joko Widodo.
