The MyCEB Annual Report 2025, published by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) — a government body established under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) — documents the bureau's performance in supporting Malaysia's Business Events sector during 2025. MyCEB secured 393 Business Events in 2025, comprising 164 conventions, 66 trade exhibitions, and 163 corporate meetings and incentive events; together with 36 international sporting events, total supported events reached 429. Financial assistance disbursed through MyCEB's support programmes totalled RM 12.2 million, with an average group size of 601 participants and an average event duration of 4 days. MyCEB secured 41 successful bids for events to be held between 2025 and 2030, with 33,932 delegates expected. International sporting events attracted 36,231 international participants. According to the ICCA GlobeWatch Business Analytics 2025 Country & City Rankings (as cited in this report), Malaysia ranked 32nd globally and 8th in Asia Pacific with 143 international association meetings. MyCEB estimates the international economic impact of the 393 Business Events at RM 3.98 billion, based on international delegate expenditure; this is a self-commissioned estimate. This report covers MyCEB-supported business and sporting events; independently organised events outside MyCEB's programmes are not included.
