Dubai World Trade Centre Authority (DWTCA), established under Dubai Law No. 26 of 2011, is the government authority responsible for two complexes: the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City. In 2024, DWTCA hosted a combined 378 MICE, business, and consumer events—a 26% year-on-year increase. The 20 DWTC-organised flagship exhibitions attracted 590,000 attendees, of whom 242,000 (41%) were international visitors, with 19,062 registered exhibitors. Across all 378 events at both venues, 58,665 exhibiting companies participated, 77% of them international. The DEC hosted 24 events welcoming 128,000 participants.
