Art Madrid

Art Madrid is an annually held contemporary art fair that serves as a dynamic, inclusive, and approachable platform for accessing contemporary art. The event is dedicated to fostering artistic talent, strengthening the gallery ecosystem, and encouraging responsible collecting. As a multidisciplinary fair, it showcases new artistic tendencies across various mediums. The 22nd edition of Art Madrid will take place from March 3 to 7, 2027, at the Galería de Cristal of CentroCentro Cibeles in Madrid, Spain.

The fair features a diverse range of contemporary art, including painting, sculpture, graphic art, photography, installation, and digital art of recent production. In 2027, around 35 national and international galleries are expected to participate, following 35 galleries in 2026 and 34 exhibitors in 2025. Art Madrid attracts a broad and specialized audience, including cultural agents, collectors, new audiences, and specialist press. This audience is characterized by active buying and a strong institutional profile, with representatives from over 30 foundations, museums, and collections visiting in 2026. The fair reported sales success from 70% of participating galleries in 2026, and a personalized advisory service for buyers, available since 2021, generated transactions of approximately €500,000 in 2026, excluding direct gallery sales.

With around 20,000 visitors per edition in 2026, and more than 150,000 visitors attending its last five editions up to 2026, Art Madrid provides a significant platform for engagement within the art community. The event is organized by Art Madrid, specifically by the company Arte y Asociados, which has been organizing the fair since 2006.
