CIIE

The China International Import Expo (CIIE) Shanghai 2026, scheduled from November 5 to November 10, 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), is the world's first national-level expo dedicated to imports. Held annually in Shanghai, China since 2018 under the theme 'New Era, Shared Future,' its core mission is to promote trade liberalization and economic globalization while proactively opening the Chinese market to global participants. The event comprises four major components: the Country Exhibition, the Business Exhibition, the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, and supporting events and people-to-people exchanges.

The Business Exhibition features six primary exhibition areas: Food and Agricultural Products, Automobile and Smart Mobility, Technical Equipment, Consumer Goods, Medical Equipment and Healthcare Products, and Trade in Services. It also includes an Innovation Incubation Special Section (NH Hall), focusing on frontier fields such as artificial intelligence and cutting-edge computing, digital health and precision medicine, advanced manufacturing and robotics, and sustainable business and consumer technology, allowing for focused industry engagement.

CIIE attracts a diverse audience, including professional visitors, government officials, distributors, media, and consumers, alongside Chinese buyers, investors, and industry leaders. The previous edition (the 8th CIIE, 2025) brought together 155 countries, regions, and international organizations, with 4,108 overseas enterprises exhibiting, and the value of intended deals reached a record high of US$83.49 billion on a one-year basis. The expo offers global suppliers direct access to decision-makers, distribution partners, and cross-border business opportunities, fostering connections with key stakeholders from state-owned enterprises, private companies, and e-commerce platforms.
