DAC

The Design Automation Conference (DAC) is recognized as the leading event dedicated to the design and design automation of electronic chips to systems. The 64th edition of DAC is scheduled for July 11-14, 2027, at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California. The conference program encompasses key areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), design, electronic design automation (EDA), security, and systems. It is co-sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), with support from SIGDA and CEDA.

The exhibition floor features approximately 200 exhibitors from EDA, silicon, and IP companies, including industry partners like Siemens, NVIDIA, Synopsys, and Cadence. Core exhibit sectors include Electronic Design Automation (EDA), Artificial Intelligence in chip and system design, Semiconductor design and IP, Security in electronic systems, and Silicon design and fabrication. The event serves as a vital platform for showcasing innovations and fostering collaboration within these fields.

DAC attracts professionals from diverse backgrounds, including academia, industry, research, and government. Attendees can engage with concurrent programs such as the Ph.D. Forum, DAC Young Fellows programme, Hack@DAC and ICLAD Hackathon, Poster Gladiator competition, and University Demonstration at DAC, providing opportunities for learning, networking, and professional development.
