eltefa

eltefa is a biennial trade fair dedicated to the electrical industry in Southern Germany. The event focuses on a broad spectrum of topics, including electrical and electronic technologies, industrial automation, building technology, renewable energy, and information technology. Its core mission is to electrify, interconnect, and enlighten, serving as a vital platform for industry, trades, and services. The upcoming edition will be held from March 2 to March 4, 2027, at Messe Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany.

The exhibition floor covers a comprehensive range of solutions and products. Key exhibit sectors include building technology (such as KNX, smart homes, and building automation), energy technology (like charging infrastructure, photovoltaics, and energy management), and electrical installation (including control cabinets, cable technology, and installation materials). Other significant areas feature lighting technology, security technology, IT infrastructure, industry and automation, E-Mobility, and smart grids. Additionally, the fair showcases measuring and test technology, assembly equipment, and opportunities for training and further education.

eltefa attracts a diverse and professional audience, including electricians, master electricians, installers, energy consultants, network operators, planners, architects, engineers, and facility managers. Wholesalers, specialist dealers, system integrators, trainees, and educational institutions also form a significant part of the visitor profile. Notably, 50 percent of visitors in 2023 held management positions, underscoring the event's importance for decision-makers. Attendees also gain access to concurrent events such as Volta-X, an international energy platform, and hy-fcell, focusing on fuel cells and hydrogen technology.
