ExpoOptica

ExpoOptica is a specialized trade fair dedicated to the optics and optometry industry, convening professionals from the sector. This biennial event takes place in Madrid, Spain, providing a platform for industry stakeholders to connect and engage. The exhibition is organized by IFEMA, a prominent entity responsible for managing fairs, halls, and congresses within its facilities in Madrid.

IFEMA, which stands for Institución Ferial de Madrid, began its operations in 1980. It operates as a consortium, with key partners including the Ayuntamiento de Madrid, the regional administration of the Community of Madrid, the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Montemadrid Foundation, each holding a 31% stake. IFEMA's facilities are strategically located in the Barajas district of Madrid.

The event is hosted at Parque Ferial Juan Carlos I, also known as the IFEMA Trade Fair Centre. This extensive venue offers 200,000 m² of covered exhibition space across twelve pavilions, complemented by a convention center exceeding 10,000 m², a dedicated meeting area, and an auditorium capable of seating 600 attendees. Additionally, the Recinto Ferial provides 240,000 m² of space, featuring 13 halls, 85 meeting rooms, various outdoor areas, and two convention centers. The North Convention Centre includes 18 meeting rooms and an auditorium for 1,100 participants, while the South Convention Centre has an auditorium for 600 participants, alongside numerous restaurants and 14,000 parking spaces.
