fish international & GASTRO IVENT

fish international, launched in 1988, is Germany's only trade fair for fish and seafood, held biennially at Messe Bremen in Bremen, Germany, and organized by M3B GmbH (MESSE BREMEN). GASTRO IVENT, a concurrent trade fair for the catering and hospitality sector, runs simultaneously at the same venue, with fish international occupying Hall 5 and GASTRO IVENT occupying Halls 6 and 7.

fish international covers fish and seafood products, fishing and aquaculture, and seafood processing equipment and technology. GASTRO IVENT focuses on gastronomy and restaurant equipment, hotel and communal catering supplies, the coffee industry — including the Specialty Coffee Association Germany national championships — and food retail equipment and services. fish international targets professionals from the fish industry, fish wholesalers, food retailers, and the catering trade, while GASTRO IVENT targets decision-makers from catering, hospitality, communal catering, and food retail sectors.

The 19th edition of fish international, held February 25–27, 2024, featured 322 exhibitors from 30 countries and 13,729 combined visitors with GASTRO IVENT. The 18th edition in 2022 featured 321 exhibitors from 27 countries. The 2026 edition is expected to host around 300 international exhibitors and over 11,000 trade visitors. The next edition is scheduled for February 27–29, 2028 at Messe Bremen, Bremen, Germany.
