FUTURE MINERALS FORUM

The Future Minerals Forum (FMF) is an annual international forum focused on the minerals and mining industry. It is hosted under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Saudi Arabia, which also organizes the event. The forum brings together governments, industry leaders, investors, multilateral organizations, and stakeholders across the minerals value chain. FMF 2027 is scheduled for January 12 to 14, 2027, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The 5th edition (2026) recorded 21,500 participants, 274 exhibitors, 13 official country pavilions, ministers and senior representatives from more than 100 countries, and 59 international organizations. Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding totaling SAR 100 billion were signed at the 2026 edition. The first summit, held in 2022, drew representation from 32 governments. The 2026 exhibition was organized across four zones: an outdoor exhibition for heavy machinery and equipment, a technology zone, an indoor exhibition for major global companies, and an exploration zone for junior exploration companies.

Attendance at the Future Minerals Forum is complimentary for approved participants. Concurrent events include the Ministerial Roundtable and the Future Minerals Pioneers competition, a global minerals innovation contest open to students, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and employees.
