Gebäude.Energie.Technik

Gebäude.Energie.Technik (GETEC), founded in 2008, is a trade fair focused on energy-efficient planning, construction, and modernization, renewable energies, and healthy living in Southwest Germany. The event is organized by Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM GmbH & Co. KG) together with Solar Promotion GmbH, and it takes place at Messe Freiburg in Freiburg, Germany. The 2027 edition will be held in Halls 2 & 3. The target audience includes private and commercial builders, property owners, developers, architects, planners, energy consultants, and business visitors such as constructors and real estate owners.

The exhibition covers a broad range of topics: building envelopes, window and facade technology, doors, glazing, insulation systems, ecological building and insulation materials, bathroom modernization, sun protection, passive and plus-energy houses, heating and system technology (including oil and gas condensing technology, combined heat and power, heat pumps, air conditioning, storage techniques, and ventilation systems with heat recovery), thermal solar systems, photovoltaic systems, wind power, and wood pellet boilers.

Additional categories include electricity storage and electromobility (energy storage solutions, electric vehicles, e-car sharing), energy services, modern home technology and smart building automation, financing and promotion of sustainable construction projects, and digital building applications. A concurrent event, IMMO (Messe rund um Ihre Immobilie), is held alongside GETEC. Past editions took place in February 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025. For 2026, online pre-sale tickets were priced from 9.00 EUR and on-site day tickets cost 12.00 EUR.
