IDF

IDF is an annual B2B event held in Porto, Portugal, dedicated to the decoration and interior design industry. Positioned as a dynamic platform, it aims to foster a symbiosis between the talent and creativity of new-generation creators, who revive traditional techniques, and the art and experience of older, traditional brands that reinvent themselves through design. This unique intersection is intended to define and showcase new trends within the sector, making IDF an essential observatory for upcoming seasonal proposals.

The exhibition spans 14,000 square meters at Exponor, covering a comprehensive range of products for interiors, decoration, and gifts. Core exhibit sectors include Home Accessories (featuring home textiles, cutlery, crockery, ceramics, table, and kitchen items), Living & Flowers (encompassing decoration, flowers, illustration, and fragrances), Furniture & Lighting, Paper Show (for stationery, gifts, and office supplies), and Interior Fabrics. Additional categories presented include the art of decoration, art of table and kitchen, ambiances, party, and various gift items.

Exclusively open to professionals, IDF provides a crucial space for the sector to present new proposals and serves as a launchpad for new generations of Portuguese creators. The event actively promotes contacts between exhibitors and visitors, fosters partnerships and synergies among brands, and facilitates the exchange of experiences. The 2020 edition, for instance, featured approximately 120 exhibitors and an estimated 10,000 national and international visitors, alongside thematic areas such as "Iconic Brands" and "Makers Showcase."
