MICRONORA is recognized as Europe's premier international trade fair dedicated to microtechnology, micro-nanotechnology, and precision. This biennial event highlights advancements in precision, miniaturization, and the integration of complex functions, spanning the full spectrum from research and development through to subcontracting and production technologies.

The trade fair brings together the entire microtechnology sector, showcasing companies that specialize in designing, producing, and inspecting components with tolerances measured in microns. It encompasses a broad multi-technological range, serving diverse markets such as aeronautics, medical, luxury goods, telecom, automotive, defense, and electromechanics. The event covers the entire value chain, including engineering, manufacturing technologies, tooling, metrology, and the assembly and integration of complex systems.

MICRONORA is intended for industry professionals, including suppliers, researchers, design offices, manufacturers, subcontractors, system integrators, and metrology experts. The 2026 edition, taking place from September 29 to October 2 in Besançon, France, at the Micropolis exhibition center, will feature concurrent programs such as conferences, a "Zoom" event focusing on microtechnology in aeronautics, space, and defense, the "Microns & Nano d'Or" contest, and "BtoB meetings – Micro Nano Event".
