MTA Asia is recognized as the largest international trade show for precision machinery engineering and metalworking within the ASEAN region. Scheduled from May 12-15, 2027, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bangkok, Thailand, this annual event serves as a crucial platform for ASEAN manufacturing buyers. Attendees seek equipment upgrades, sourcing opportunities, and industrial technology exchange across various sectors.

The exhibition showcases a comprehensive range of core exhibit sectors, including Precision Engineering (Precision Manufacturing, High-precision Production), Machine Tools and Metalworking (Machine Tools, Metalworking Processes), Test and Measurement (Testing Technology, Metrology), Tooling and Sheet Metal Solutions (Cutting Tools, Sheet Metal Fabrication), and Smart Manufacturing Solutions. Past editions have featured a significant scale, with 580 exhibitors in 2026 and 859 in the last edition. Exhibiting companies from countries such as China, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Dubai, Turkey, Brazil, Spain, South Africa, Germany, and others were represented in the last edition.

MTA Asia targets a diverse audience of ASEAN manufacturing buyers, including industrial buyers in automotive, electronics, fabricated metal products, and engineering. It also attracts decision-makers and experts from mechanical engineering, the automotive and aerospace industries, electronics, and medical technology. The event drew 32,500 visitors in 2026 and 40,500 in the last edition, occupying a floor area of 30,000+ sqm in 2026 and 48,000 sqm in the last edition. MTA Asia is co-located with INTERMACH and SUBCON Thailand, enhancing its value proposition.
