Shanghai MTM Expo

Shanghai MTM Expo 2026 is a significant annual trade exhibition focusing on the entire steel and metallurgical industry chain. Taking place from December 3 to 5, 2026, in Shanghai, China, this event covers a wide range of sectors including metallurgy, refractories, casting and forging, industrial furnaces, steel pipe, wire, and various metal materials. The 2026 edition emphasizes the "Ecological Development of the Steel Industry," highlighting low-carbon processes and clean & green energy solutions. Originating from the Shanghai International Metallurgy Industry Expo founded in 1986, MTM Expo has evolved into a key one-stop trade-fair platform for the industry.

The exhibition features eight core themed sections, showcasing major exhibits such as raw materials, equipment, and steel products for the iron and steel industry, refractory materials, casting products and equipment, heat treatment and thermal technology, steel pipe products, and measurement and testing. It connects manufacturers, suppliers, technology providers, and decision-makers, offering exhibitors the opportunity to engage with buyers from East China and those involved in export metal manufacturing and engineering.

Open to professionals, the event is projected to host over 1,000 exhibitors in 2026, an increase from 930 in 2025, and attract more than 40,000 professional visitors, up from 31,589 in 2025. With an exhibition area projected at 40,000 sqm in 2026, and representation from 66 countries and regions in 2025, Shanghai MTM Expo provides a vital hub for industry collaboration and business development.
