The UK AD & World Biogas Expo, also known as The World Biogas Expo, is the largest trade show solely dedicated to anaerobic digestion and biogas. Co-organized by the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) and the World Biogas Association (WBA), the event gathers industry professionals from the United Kingdom and overseas. The 2026 edition takes place July 8–9, 2026, at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
The exhibition showcases the latest biogas technology products and systems, including pumps, mixers, valves, tanks, flares, instrumentation, heat exchangers, and combined heat and power (CHP) engines. Past editions have featured plastics removal technology (2019), HRS Biogas Dehumidification System (2019), and micronutrient technology for AD and biogas plants (2018). Attendance is free of charge, with pre-registration required.
Concurrent programs include the Engine Room technical theatre, featuring expert discussions on global market trends, policy updates, and technological advancements; the Summit thought leadership theatre; the World Biogas Summit; and the AD & Biogas Industry Awards gala ceremony. The 2018 edition attracted over 3,000 attendees and more than 200 exhibitors, with over 100 speakers (2018); the 2019 edition saw attendance increase 8% compared to 2018 (2019).
