Woodrise

Woodrise 2027 is a biannual international conference focused on mid- and high-rise timber construction and sustainable building practices. Its theme is "Sustainable Solutions to Resilient Communities and Housing," and it covers industry areas such as Forestry and wood products, and Infrastructure. The event is part of a series, with its 5th edition having taken place in 2025.

Coordinated by FPInnovations and hosted in partnership with the Government of B.C., the Institut Technologique Forêt Cellulose Bois-construction Ameublement, and Japan International Association for the Industry of Urban Development, Building and Housing, Woodrise 2027 targets a broad audience. This includes architects, designers, engineers, consultants, product suppliers, construction companies, finance and insurance professionals, government policymakers, planners, students, and researchers.

Participants can expect to gain valuable insights and market intelligence, meet key commercial entities, industry players, potential buyers, investors, partners, regulatory bodies, and academic or research entities. The event offers networking opportunities, pre-organized business-to-business meetings, and a chance to increase product or service visibility. Attendees can also receive on-the-ground assistance from the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service and compare their offerings with international competitors.
