World of Quantum is established as the premier international trade fair for quantum technologies, addressing their vast potential and applications. The event covers key areas including quantum computing and simulation, communication and cryptography, imaging and sensor technology, and photonics as an enabling technology. The inaugural edition took place in 2022, and the upcoming event is scheduled from June 22 to June 25, 2027, continuing its biennial cycle.

This specialized trade fair serves as a vital platform, bringing together prominent companies and innovative start-ups within the quantum sector. It is specifically designed for professionals, businesses, and emerging enterprises engaged in the development and practical application of quantum technology. Attendees can explore the latest innovations and connect with industry leaders.

Organized by Messe München GmbH, World of Quantum is held at Messe München in Munich, Germany. It runs concurrently with Laser World of Photonics, the world's leading trade fair for photonics components, systems, and applications, enhancing networking and discovery opportunities. The event also features engaging forums and inspiring poster sessions, complementing the exhibition floor. The 2025 edition attracted 2,181 trade visitors from 41 countries and 160 exhibitors from 16 countries, with approximately 100 forum contributions.
