21st China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair held in Guangzhou

According to a report republished by the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Consulate General in Mumbai, the 21st China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair was held in Guangzhou from September 3 to 6, with more than 2,000 Chinese and foreign companies exhibiting in 85,000 square meters of halls. The international zone and the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan zone gathered more than 500 companies from more than 40 countries and regions and international organizations, with exhibits in fields including intelligent technology, biomedicine, cross-border services, specialty consumer goods, premium food, and light industry and cultural-creative products. Ten Guangdong makers of complete humanoid robots (LimX Dynamics, X Square Robot, AI² Robotics, Leju Robotics, EngineAI, Midea, XPeng, Honor, UBTECH Robotics and Dobot) exhibited as a group for the first time. Zou Yongbing, chief economist of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, said the ten companies, building on differentiated technology paths, showed the line-up of Guangdong's humanoid robot industry from technological breakthroughs to real-world application. The fair solicited SME innovations nationwide for debut and promotion. Coinciding with APEC "China Year", it was held concurrently with the 32nd APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Ministerial Meeting. With one oriented toward policy dialogue and the other focused on company showcases, trade and cooperation, the two platforms were linked in Guangzhou in a "one meeting, one exhibition" format for the first time. Li Lecheng, China's Minister of Industry and Information Technology, said China is willing to work with other economies to turn relevant consensus into projects for policy exchange, capacity building, technical cooperation and business matchmaking, so that more SMEs can take part in Asia-Pacific cooperation and share regional development opportunities.
