MWC 2026 Closes: Taiwan Pavilion Secures Cross-Border Telecom Partnerships

The 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona (March 2-5) concluded with Taiwan's pavilion, focused on AI communications empowerment and edge computing solutions, securing multiple cross-border cooperation deals. Highlights: Taiyang Technology partnered with NTT Docomo and NEC's OREX SAI for Open RAN markets in Europe and the US; Kynix collaborated with Palau's PNCC for 4G/5G networks; Nexcom allied with Japan's Hytec Inter for factory automation using 5G Open RAN; Taicenn signed an MOU with Japan's JCI for smart mobile ID chip card technology. Since setting up the Taiwan Pavilion in 2017, cumulative output has exceeded NT$10 billion.
