Taiwan Smart Healthcare Delegation Showcases Digital Health and Telecare at HIMSS 2026

Taiwan's National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and Ministry of Economic Affairs led a Smart Healthcare National Team of 9 hospitals and 25 companies to HIMSS 2026 in Las Vegas (March 10-12). Under the theme "Healthy Taiwan × Smart Healthcare," exhibits covered three core areas: Digital Infrastructure, Smart Healthcare AI, and Home Care. Highlights included Taipei Veterans General Hospital's DeepFlow AI MLOps platform (cutting AI R&D time in half), Tung's Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital's Fusion smart care platform with precise positioning and contactless monitoring, AI surgical robots, precision oncology platforms, and elderly care robots expected to replace 50% of nursing workload.
