Touch Taiwan 2026 Opens: Silicon Photonics Steals the Show

Touch Taiwan 2026 series exhibitions opened on April 8, with the market focus shifting from display panels to advanced packaging and silicon photonics. PLP (Panel-Level Packaging) and CPO (Co-Packaged Optics) mass production are driving demand for inspection, measurement, and automation equipment. The G2C+ Alliance (comprising Chisio, Marketech, KC Tech, and Tokin) showcased technologies including TGV, FOPLP, and Micro LED. Alliance member Chisio recorded a March revenue of NT$893 million (+138.68% MoM, +77.59% YoY), with Q1 2026 revenue reaching NT$2.261 billion, a new record.
