AFAC26 Conference and Exhibition powered by INTERSCHUTZ stages its largest exhibition to date

The AFAC26 Conference and Exhibition powered by INTERSCHUTZ ran from 18 to 21 August 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, hosting over 5,800 attendees alongside its largest exhibition to date. AFAC describes the event as Australasia's largest and most comprehensive emergency management event. The programme examined how transformational leadership grounded in integrity, equity and inclusion can shape the future of the emergency management sector, and how organisations can further enhance ethical leadership to meet the evolving needs of the communities they serve. During the conference, AFAC Director of Communications and Events Zoe Kenyon spoke with sector leaders and attendees about their experience of the event.
