A Coruña Becomes the Pet-Friendly Epicenter This Weekend with PATA PATA 2026 at EXPOCoruña

On April 18-19, EXPOCoruña will host PATA PATA 2026 – the Companion Animals and Pet-Friendly Tourism Fair, gathering more than 80 exhibitors in food, health, education, services and pet-friendly tourism, with a broad program for all audiences. The fair opens Saturday at 10:00, with activities leading up to the official opening at 12:00 in the Ágora Space, including a feline interior-design talk by Verónica Ríos (Decónica), an agility demonstration by Club Cococan and the presentation of O Salnés as a pet-friendly destination. The opening ceremony will feature the vice-president of the A Coruña Provincial Council, Xosé Regueira, along with representatives of the Xunta de Galicia, Tiendanimal and EXPOCoruña. The venue is organized into a Central Ring, the Ágora, a Children's Zone and a Gastro Zone, plus a Calm Space sponsored by Abeiro Veterinary Hospital and an Adoption Space sponsored by Tiendanimal with shelters such as Animaneko, APA Michigüau and O Legado de Max. The program includes displays by the Guardia Civil's canine unit, CASAGA rescue dogs, the Can Talent contest and talks on animal welfare, positive training, veterinary emergencies and safe car travel with pets.
