Registration Opens for CM Málaga's 2nd Ideathon, Aimed at Driving Innovative Solutions for Cultural Digitalization

Málaga City Council, through its Culture and Historical Heritage Area and in collaboration with 42 Málaga Fundación Telefónica, has opened registration for the 2nd Ideathon "Culture in Code: Transforming Culture Through Technology", to be held within the fifth edition of CM Málaga, Culture & Museums International Tech Forum, on June 22-23 at FYCMA. The call will present participants with on-site technological challenges aimed at driving innovative digitalization solutions for the cultural industry, boosting its transformation and opening new business avenues for cultural agents. Participation is open to cultural agents and professionals in all fields, artists and creatives of any discipline, students of the 42 Málaga Fundación Telefónica programming campus, university or business-school students in the final stages of their degrees or master's, graduates, and final-year vocational-training students. Registration remains open until June 18. A jury formed by Fundación Telefónica, the Culture Area and FYCMA will assess each team project's creativity and innovation, final quality, market transferability and focus on the digital-transformation challenges posed. All members of the three winning teams will receive free professional-visitor registration for the forums organized by FYCMA between September 2026 and June 2027.
