Automobile Barcelona Returns in 2027 and Debuts a New Location at Gran Via
Automobile Barcelona, the International Motor Show organized by Fira de Barcelona with the support of ANFAC, will be held from April 10 to 18, 2027 at the Gran Via venue, with two preview days for press and professionals on April 8 and 9. The event will celebrate its 44th edition and will leave its traditional Montjuïc home to move to this modern space, where it will enhance its exhibition and experiential proposal. The change of location, a consequence of the transformation works at the Montjuïc venue within the framework of the Centenary of the 1929 International Exposition, will offer exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to discover the possibilities of a venue that is an international benchmark for its state-of-the-art facilities. Show director José Miguel García highlighted that the new headquarters will improve the overall attendee experience in an edition designed to discover and test the latest models, energize the market and help accelerate the electrification of the vehicle fleet. The event will once again feature the sector's major brands and an experiential format focused on electrification, autonomous driving and the connected car, positioning itself as a key platform to drive sales and bring innovation closer to the end consumer. With more than 100 years of history and a biennial format, Automobile Barcelona is the only event held in Spain with the international recognition of the OICA, the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers.
