The B-Travel tourism fair hosted by Fira de Barcelona concluded on March 22, 2026, after three days of activity at the Montjuic venue. The 2026 edition welcomed over 25,000 visitors and 110 national and international exhibitors, united under the theme Biajar, meaning to travel well. Responsible tourism was the central axis of the event, with exhibitors showcasing sustainable travel options that respect local communities, cultural diversity, and social inclusion. Spanish destinations including Catalunya, Aragon, Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Galicia, Extremadura, La Rioja, and guest community Navarra attracted strong visitor interest. On the international side, Sicily, the United States, and African destinations such as Tanzania were among the most popular proposals. The fair also featured the B-Travel Gastro Fest food event, the ACAVe Travel Market job fair, a Biosphere sustainability forum, and an LGBTQ inclusive travel session. Fair president Marti Sarrate highlighted the importance of tourism to the Spanish and Catalan economies, and director Laura Cardona confirmed the next edition will take place from March 19 to 21, 2027.
