Bakery & Ice Cream Attraction Constitutes Its Organizing Committee and Holds Its First Meeting

Bakery & Ice Cream Attraction has officially constituted its Organizing Committee, the fair's key advisory body, and held its first working meeting, addressing the strategic lines and main challenges of this benchmark professional gathering for the bakery, pastry and ice cream sectors. The fair is integrated into the Anuga Select Ibérica ecosystem, the platform driven by IFEMA MADRID and Koelnmesse for the food and beverage industry in Spain and Portugal. The Committee comprises a broad, representative selection of sector associations, leading companies and public institutions: the National Association of Artisan Ice Cream Makers (ANHCEA), the Spanish Confederation of Artisan Pastry Entrepreneurs (CEEAP), CEOPPAN, the Richemont Club, plus the companies Braspa, Disaronno Ingredients, Iceteam 1927, Grupo Vilbo and Salva Industrial, together with Koelnmesse, the Community and City of Madrid and IFEMA MADRID. The constitutive meeting presented the fair's next edition, its objectives, international positioning and role as a platform to boost the competitiveness, training and visibility of the sectors represented, as well as the response to new consumption habits, sustainability and technological innovation. Carlos Barrachina (Grupo Vilbo) stressed that "the creation of this committee is a clear sign of the project's ambition", conceived as a true meeting point for the entire value chain and key to anticipating trends in a sector of enormous economic and cultural weight.
