Battery & ES Tech Europe Will Gather the Main Players of a Booming Sector
The first edition of Battery & Energy Storage Tech Europe will feature the participation of more than one hundred leading European companies and institutions in the energy storage field. Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via venue will become, on September 8 and 9, the meeting point to discuss the main challenges and opportunities of a sector destined to shape the future of the European economy. The show will feature an exhibition area hosting more than 50 firms, including Omron, Monolithic Power Systems, Gamma Technologies, Farnell Global, Relats, Battech, Halide Energy, Alvatek and LiCAP, along with the participation of companies such as Basquevolt, Acciona, Endesa, Veolia, Naturgy, EDP Renewables, Galp, Neoen, CIC energiGUNE, SolarPower Europe and Flow Batteries Europe. The event also has the backing of key national and international entities, including Spain's CDTI, the Catalan government's ACCIÓ agency, IREC, Eurecat, BatteryPlat, BEPA, Batt4EU and CIDETEC Energy Storage. The participants span the entire battery and energy storage value chain: from strategic raw material processing and the development of new materials and manufacturing processes to safety solutions, key components and industrial applications linked to electrification. The international congress will bring together more than 40 speakers to address smart battery management, sustainable system design, investment in new technologies and the development of a more autonomous European industry. With this event, Fira de Barcelona consolidates the Catalan capital as a European hub of energy innovation.
