Bioterra Brings the Second Session of the "Hope: We Are Still in Time" Film Forum to Bizkaia with Ekolurra
The documentary series "Hope! Estamos a Tiempo" continues its journey within the framework of Bioterra, the Basque Country's "eco" fair, with a second film-forum session on April 28 at 17:00 at the headquarters of Ekolurra-ENEEK, the Basque Council for Organic Food and Agriculture, in Amorebieta-Etxano, supported by the town council. The initiative is part of the run-up program of Bioterra 2026, to be held June 5-7 at Ficoba, reinforcing the fair's commitment to promoting reflection and action on sustainability all year round. The second episode, "The Power of Two Words", will be screened, centered on the transformative force of the question "what if...?" in rethinking our present in the face of the climate crisis, with examples ranging from regenerative farming practices to cities that reorganize their spaces around people. The screening will be followed by an open round table with Laida Rodríguez (moderator), Xabier Lejarzegi (ENEEK-Ekolurra), Urtza Uriarte, Raquel Olaso and Jon Bastante on environmental regeneration, agroecology and ecosocial transition. Created by Javier Peña and available on RTVE Play and Movistar+, the series was presented at the European Parliament in December; Bioterra will screen six episodes, three before the fair and three during it.
