Bioterra Strengthens Its Commitment to a Sustainable, Healthy Lifestyle in Its 23rd Edition

Bioterra, the Basque Country's organic fair, will hold its 23rd edition from June 5 to 7 at Ficoba with free admission. Under the slogan 'We cultivate what endures', the event will bring together around 120 exhibiting companies with products and services in organic food, renewable energy, natural cosmetics, sustainable fashion, bio-construction and responsible consumption, along with more than fifty activities. The Basque Country and Navarre account for 52.5% of exhibitors, with notable participation from Andalusia, Catalonia and Madrid at around 8% each. The program is spread across three themed spaces: Amalurra (Hall 1), dedicated to wellbeing and integral health, featuring the Adinberri foundation focused on innovation in aging and screenings of the docuseries 'Hope! We Are Still in Time'; Sukaldean (Hall 2), the gastronomic space with live showcookings of organic, seasonal and local cuisine, where organic olive oil tastings return and cheese tastings are added; and Eskuz Faktoria (Hall 3), with hands-on workshops on natural cosmetics, textile recycling and traditional crafts. Special activities include the Merka2dasoa second-hand bicycle market, the tenth Bioterra Yoga Day and a cigarette-butt cleanup with Surfrider. At the opening ceremony, tributes will be paid to Eneek-Ekolurra on its 20th anniversary and to Navarre's CPAEN for its 30-year history.
