DS Industry World Summit on Decarbonization and Sustainability Set for November 2026 in Bilbao
DS Industry — Decarbonized and Sustainable Industry — will hold its inaugural edition from November 3 to 5, 2026 at Bilbao Exhibition Centre. This biennial world summit targets industry adaptation to environmental opportunities and challenges, focusing on competitiveness and accelerated decarbonization. The event is organized around three pillars: Knowledge (congress), Innovation (exhibition area), and Networking. The congress features three tracks: Technology, covering heat pumps, green hydrogen, CO2 capture and use, and thermal storage; Sectors, addressing decarbonization challenges in refining, steel, paper, cement, ceramics, food, and foundry; and Circularity, examining waste valorization, ecodesign, product life extension, and servitization. A technical committee comprising Aclima, BASQUENERGY Cluster, the Basque Energy Agency (EVE), Iberdrola, Petronor/Repsol, SPRI, and Tecnalia guides the program. Confirmed exhibitors include Sener, BrenMiller Europe, Tecnalia, and Globalfactor. Institutional backing comes from the Basque Government and the Foral Deputation of Bizkaia, with sector partners including Aclima, Basquenergy Cluster, EVE, SPRI Group, and IHOBE.
