Healthcare takes centre stage in FYCMA's May calendar with three events gathering over 4,200 professionals

The medical and healthcare field leads the May programme at FYCMA (Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga), owned by Málaga City Council, which will gather more than 4,200 professionals across three specialised events of national and international scope. The programme opens with the 27th EFORT Annual Congress (European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics & Traumatology) from 4 to 6 May, devoted to innovations and transdisciplinarity in the future of orthopaedics; the federation stages this congress each year in cities such as Vienna, Lisbon and Lyon. From 14 to 16 May, the 48th Annual Meeting of the Spanish Society of Paediatric Neurology (SENEP) will review advances in diagnosing and treating paediatric neurological disorders, with sessions on neurophysiology, clinical genetics and neurodevelopmental conditions and a special focus on young neuropaediatricians. Closing the cycle, from 27 to 29 May, the 35th National Congress of Nursing Care Technicians will centre the scientific debate on critical and emergency care. The agenda is completed by the 4th IAGTO Annual European Convention (IEC 2026) on golf tourism, from 18 to 20 May, with 900 delegates from Europe, Africa and the Gulf States, and, for the general public, writer Borja Vilaseca's 'Mentes Expertas' lecture on 11 May.
