FIMA's organising committee reviews the results of the 2026 edition

FIMA 2026, the international agricultural machinery fair, closed its 44th edition with results that reinforce its standing as a world-reference platform for agricultural business and innovation. Held at Feria de Zaragoza, the show gathered 1,267 exhibiting firms from 35 countries across 88,480 square metres and welcomed 187,875 professional visitors, up 12.12% on the 167,564 recorded in 2024. According to the organisers, 80% of exhibitors consider their participation goals met and 90% of visitors already plan to return for FIMA 2028. The figures were presented at the Organising Committee meeting held at Zaragoza's Palacio de Congresos, attended by Aragon's new Minister of Agriculture, Arancha Simón, and member companies including Kuhn Ibérica, Agragex and Ansemat. The programme featured more than 80 technical sessions drawing over 2,400 accredited attendees. Highlighted initiatives included FIMA Tech, the Hall 9 space devoted to robotics, AI, IoT and precision agriculture, and FIMA Conecta Talento, aimed at attracting young professionals to the agri-food sector. The Excellence Award of the Technical Innovations Competition went to the Gardeniers special employment centre, backed by ATADES, which combines certified organic farming with social inclusion. Feria de Zaragoza is already working on FIMA 2028.
