The Fira de Tots Sants Congress will gather expert voices to analyse the management of public-space events

The 6th Annual Congress of the Fira de Tots Sants will be held on 3 June at Cocentaina's Casa de la Joventut, organised by the town council's Fair Department, to address the main challenges facing trade fairs held in public streets through lectures, a sector round table and hands-on workshops. The opening will feature provincial deputy Carlos Pastor, mayor Rubén Muñoz and fair councillor Marcela Richart, who said the edition brings together 'very different but complementary profiles' to discuss fairs from the standpoint of management, sustainability, technology and direct experience. José Ramón Gonzálvez (Miguel Hernández University and Fundesem) will address the future of fairs in public spaces and their role as territorial marketing; Pere López (Girsa) and Agustín Pons (Ona Adapta) will cover sustainability in urban fairs — waste reduction, circular economy, energy efficiency and mobility —; and communication consultant Clara Montesinos will discuss digitalisation, data analytics and social media applied to street fairs. A round table will compare models with PROAVA, the Gandia Motor Fair, the Camp d'Elx Agricultural Fair and the Fira de Tots Sants itself. The afternoon is devoted to practical workshops led by the speakers and a final sharing of conclusions, reinforcing Cocentaina's role as a meeting point for knowledge on urban trade fairs and smart management of public space.
