The future of architecture and building takes shape at Hábitat 2026 with the 40th anniversary of the EXCO show

The next edition of Feria Hábitat València will host the EXCO'26 Construction Technology Show, which celebrates its 40th anniversary as a reference event for innovation in building, architecture and construction. Organised by the School of Building Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de València (ETSIE-UPV), EXCO'26 will run from 28 to 30 September at Feria Valencia, in parallel with Hábitat, featuring an international lecture programme addressing the industrialisation of construction, sustainability, process digitalisation, BIM, artificial intelligence applied to building, virtual and augmented reality, and energy efficiency with smart life-cycle management. A key focus will be the promotion of young talent and entrepreneurship, with a dedicated space where students, researchers and recent graduates can present projects, prototypes and innovative ideas directly to companies. As a complement, from 28 September to 1 October the international travelling exhibition 'Researching in Building Engineering' will display work from more than 60 universities across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania, creating a unique global showcase of university research. The event involves nine departments and eight research institutes of the UPV, and reinforces Hábitat's positioning as a global platform integrating design, architecture, industry and research around a contemporary vision of habitat.
