Zaragoza's Palacio de Congresos closes Q1 2026 with an economic impact of 1.5 million euros

The Palacio de Congresos de Zaragoza ended the first quarter of 2026 with figures that, according to the venue, confirm its strategic role in the economy of the Aragonese capital. Between January and March it hosted four national and international congresses that brought together 2,300 professionals from across Spain and abroad, generating a direct economic impact on the city of 1,474,400 euros. The year opened with the 2nd National Congress on Updates in Clinical Gynaecology; February brought the quarter's largest event, the 13th National Congress of the Wounds Society, with more than 1,200 participants; and March hosted both AEDEMO 2026, the annual congress of the Spanish Association of Market Research, Marketing and Communication, and the 11th International Congress of the Spanish Precision Health Society (SESAP) 2026, focused on synergies between medicine and nutrition. The venue stresses that these results demonstrate its versatility beyond corporate events and shows, and consolidate its position as a driver of MICE tourism and of Zaragoza's national and international profile.
