Zaragoza's Palacio de Congresos grows 26.3% and nears 68,000 attendees in the first months of 2026

The Palacio de Congresos de Zaragoza closes the first seven months of 2026 with results that confirm it as a benchmark venue for MICE tourism: between January and July it hosted 40 events gathering 67,689 people, 26.3% more than in the same period of 2025 and 47.9% more than in 2024, generating an economic impact of 9,304,240 euros for the city. Part of the growth stems from events such as THE WAVE, with 18,000 attendees; ARATUR, with 4,323 participants; the 150th anniversary of Fundación Ibercaja, with 1,000 delegates; and specialised congresses such as the International Animal Feed Congress (APAFIC) and that of the Spanish Society of Plastic Surgery (SECPRE). July closes the half-year with the Taxi Assembly and the Red Bull freestyle Battles, proof of the venue's versatility across scientific congresses, concerts, graduations, corporate conventions and institutional events. The second half of the year brings a packed agenda: the Vive Latino festival (4-5 September), the Turespaña Convention, The Phantom of the Opera, the Women's Race bib handout, wedding fair NUPZIAL (20-22 November), the musicals Annie and Jekyll & Hyde, and the Science Pavilion (17-20 December), organised by Feria de Zaragoza. With this line-up, the Palacio reinforces its role as an economic and social powerhouse for Aragon.
