The Boat Show prepares an edition with more brands, new sectors and experiences

Five months ahead of the event, the Barcelona International Boat Show already has 70% of its exhibition space occupied and more than 130 leading companies confirmed. The 63rd edition, organised by Fira de Barcelona with the collaboration of ANEN from 14 to 18 October at Port Vell, expects to surpass 200 exhibitors with boats of all lengths, from small and medium craft to yachts over 16 metres, plus one of Europe's largest displays of catamarans. Confirmed names include Groupe Beneteau with its Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon and Excess brands, alongside Bayliner, Mercury, Sea Ray, X-Yachts, De Antonio Yachts, Dufour, Honda, Kawasaki, Pirelli, Raymarine and Sunreef, among others. Among the novelties, under the SeaMotion motto, the Fusta quay will debut Experience Water, a new on-water demonstration zone for products and accessories, and a covered pavilion housing two new thematic areas: Marinas & Harbour Facilities and Diving, Shopping & Water Sports. Sea-trial opportunities for prospective buyers will be expanded, and the 'NavegaYA' campaign will give free admission to those who obtained their recreational boating licence (PER) in 2025 and 2026. According to ANEN, boat registrations reached 2,228 units in the first five months of 2026, up 10.6% year on year. Show president Luis Conde forecasts 'a great edition' consolidating the event as Spain's leading recreational boating platform.
