The 6th Fira de Tots Sants Congress gathers over 80 participants and consolidates Cocentaina as a hub for urban trade fairs

The 6th Annual Congress of the Fira de Tots Sants was held on Wednesday at Cocentaina's Casa de la Joventut with a very positive outcome: more than 80 participants from across the Valencian Community attended an edition focused on innovation, sustainability and the smart management of public space. Organised by the town council's Fair Department, the day brought together municipal technicians and political leaders as well as auxiliary companies specialising in assembly, security, communication and technology services. Fair councillor Marcela Richart described the congress as 'very positive and fruitful', with strong engagement both in the morning lectures — on the future of fairs in public spaces, sustainability, logistics, communication and data-driven fair management — and in the afternoon workshops on visitor experience, coexistence with the city, and technology applied to results. A round table with leading Valencian fairs compared organisational models and addressed shared issues such as regulations, security, visitor flows and relations with local commerce. Mayor Rubén Muñoz said the forum generated 'a healthy and useful debate' and pointed to the potential of data and artificial intelligence in fair management, while provincial deputy Carlos Pastor championed municipal fairs as engines of economic development and territorial cohesion. The congress reinforces Cocentaina's role as a reference space for professional debate on urban trade fairs.
