Leading Companies from Different Urban Sectors Drive the Madrid Cities Forum 2026
The seventh edition of the Madrid Cities Forum, to be held June 9-11, 2026 in hall 9 of IFEMA MADRID with more than 200 speakers and 35 sessions, is backed by companies leading their respective sectors in urban services, circular economy and sustainable urban development. Six companies and one European organization support the Forum as sponsors. FCC Medio Ambiente holds the top Platinum Sponsor category: the company provides municipal services and integral waste management to more than 39 million people across 3,900 municipalities in Spain, Portugal and France, and Javier Irigoyen, director general of FCCenviro Atlantic, will take part in the opening ceremony on June 9. Gold Sponsors include PreZero España, which serves more than 15 million citizens in 600 Spanish municipalities; Ecoembes, the organization working on the circularity of household and commercial packaging for over 29,000 companies; and Crea Madrid Nuevo Norte, the great urban-transformation project that will give new life to disused land in the heart of the capital. Valdecarros Madrid — Spain's largest urban development — and MedCities sponsor individual sessions, while ICLEI Europe, the UCCI, Tecnalia, IDOM and Broadway Malyan act as international partners promoting the event abroad. The one- or three-day pass also grants access to TECMA, SRR, Global Mobility Call and SocioCARE.
