Enerxetika 2026 and ExpoMunicipal Close with Nearly 4,900 Visitors and Strong Cross-Sector Synergies

The 5th edition of energy fair Enerxetika and the 2nd edition of municipal services fair ExpoMunicipal closed on March 27, 2026 at the Feira Internacional de Galicia ABANCA in Silleda, Pontevedra. The combined event drew nearly 4,900 visitors from Spain, Portugal, Italy, and France, with 475 exhibiting firms from 22 countries represented by 167 direct exhibitors from Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland. Enerxetika alone featured 236 firms from 17 countries and more than 40 conferences covering energy transition, biomass strategy for Galicia, energy saving certificates (CAEs) across sectors, geothermal energy, industrial decarbonization, and offshore wind. The SIE innovation showcase selected 13 cutting-edge projects. Gold sponsor Red Electrica and silver sponsor Serveo backed the event, which also included an EV test circuit and educational programs for secondary school students. The final day featured a CAE joint session for municipal entities organized by INEGA and the Xunta de Galicia, an AI optimization session by Ecogal, and an offshore wind Shorewinner project presentation.
