Engineers Day at Expoquimia 2026 to showcase industrial decarbonisation projects

Expoquimia 2026 will host the Engineers Day on the afternoon of June 4, a session dedicated to professionals working on industrial decarbonisation and energy transition in the chemical sector. Organised by Fira de Barcelona and the Industrial Engineers College of Catalonia, the event will feature technical presentations by four leading companies: Schneider Electric, Sener, Technip Energies and Tecnicas Reunidas, covering digitalisation, intelligent control, hydrogen engineering and carbon capture technologies. The programme also includes a roundtable, a recognition ceremony and a networking session. The initiative builds on the success of the first Engineers Day held in 2024 at the Hispack packaging fair. Expoquimia 2026 runs June 2-5 alongside Equiplast, expecting 800 exhibitors and more than 21,000 visitors focused on sustainable transformation of industrial processes.
