Equimur celebrates 30th anniversary opening with tributes to institutions and past presidents that shaped three decades of history
Equimur, the International Purebred Horse Show of the Region of Murcia, celebrated the official opening of its 30th edition on 13 March with a commemorative ceremony honouring the institutions and individuals who have shaped the event over three decades. The inauguration was presided by regional councillor Sara Rubira and featured an exhibition by the National Police Cavalry Unit marking its 200th anniversary. Institutional recognition was awarded to ANCCE, the Equestrian Federation of the Region of Murcia, Caravaca de la Cruz town hall, the Defence Delegation Horse Breeding Service, and the regional council for Agriculture and Fisheries. Nine former presidents of the Organizing Committee were also honoured. The programme includes morphological contests, national dressage competitions and spectacular shows featuring world-class natural trainer Santi Serra. The following day, Cayetano Martinez de Irujo will be named Honorary Godfather and Gloria Camila Ortega will be named Madrina of the 30th Anniversary.
