Equiplast Grows in 2026 and Focuses on Sustainability for the Industry's Future

After 40 years and 13 editions, Equiplast strengthens its position as the key event for the plastics and rubber industry with a clearly growing edition: more than 400 exhibitors from 16 countries, 12% more than in 2023, and floor space up 13% to around 12,500 m². Confirmed exhibitors include Arburg, Engel, Haitian Ibérica, Netstal, Wittmann, Albis and Ultrapolymers, with an offering spanning extrusion and processing machinery, automation, raw materials and additives, peripherals, molds and dies, recycling and software. Nearly a third of participating companies are international, with representation from China, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Turkey, France and the Netherlands, and a hosted-buyers program with ICEX will attract professionals from Turkey, Algeria, Mexico, Colombia and Guatemala with concrete investment projects. The big novelty is the debut of the Rethinking Plastic congress, running all four days with more than 30 sessions and around one hundred speakers on circular economy, recycling technologies, advanced materials and digitalization, plus an exhibition of sustainable and biodegradable plastic products and the new Rethinking Plastic Awards. SEAT & CUPRA will receive the Best-in-Class recognition. Together with Expoquimia, June 2-5 at the Gran Via venue, the double event expects over 800 exhibitors and some 21,000 professionals.
