Espacio Cocina SICI 2026: Francesc Rife Designs AMC Kitchen Lab with Translucid Architecture Concept

Espacio Cocina SICI 2026, the specialist fair for kitchen furniture and equipment, has revealed that designer and interior architect Francesc Rife will create the concept for its AMC Kitchen Lab space at the upcoming September 28 to October 1 edition at Feria Valencia. The fair runs simultaneously with Feria Habitat Valencia, Textilhogar, and the new initiative 360 by Cevisama. More than 50% of the planned exhibition space has already been reserved. The AMC Kitchen Lab is structured in two areas: the Kitchen Lab Expositivo, offering kitchen environments of 40, 65 or 90 square metres for national kitchen furniture manufacturers, international AMC-associated brands, and appliance and countertop companies; and the Kitchen Lab Experience, with two functional 90 m2 stands hosting the official showcooking sessions. Rife treats the kitchen as a dynamic social threshold — a translucid modular system that can open, conceal or transform depending on use, with a unified pavilion-scale image.
