EXPODENTAL 2026: Spanish dental industry revenue tops 1.2 billion euros as households spend 12 billion on dental care

EXPODENTAL 2026, the international dental fair organized by IFEMA MADRID and Fenin (March 11-13), hosted the presentation of the Key-Stone report on the panorama and outlook of the dental sector in Spain. The study confirms the Spanish dental market has grown at nearly twice the GDP rate over 15 years, driven by digitalization, intraoral scanners, 3D printing, software-assisted planning and dental aligners. Spanish households spent 12 billion euros on dental care in 2024, with around half the population visiting a dentist annually. Industry revenue exceeds 1.2 billion euros. An ageing population - with nearly 30 percent projected over 65 by mid-century - is increasing demand for implants, prosthetics, orthodontics and aesthetic dentistry, while prevention gaps widen among lower-income groups. A round table brought together leaders of DONTE GROUP, Key-Stone, SEPA and SEDO to discuss interdisciplinary collaboration and technology adoption. The show attracted over 400 exhibitors across three pavilions with NACEX and American Express as sponsors.
