Mediterranean Winner Show Feline Exposition
The Mediterranean Winner Show (MW) Feline Exposition, one of Europe's most prestigious international events endorsed by the FIFE (Fédération Internationale Féline), will be held this year in Spain on November 7 and 8 within the framework of the International Canine Exposition (55th National CAC and 33rd International CACIB) at IFEPA, the Trade Fair and Exhibition Center of the Region of Murcia. This top-level competition is held each year on a rotating basis in one of the countries of the Mediterranean Region: Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain. Close to 300 cats are expected to participate and, although the core is made up of delegations from member countries, the competition is open and global, with exhibitors expected from around the world. Unlike ordinary international shows, all participating cats must have previously qualified at other official expositions, meeting FIFE's strict scoring requirements such as Best in Show nominations or a set number of excellent ratings — guaranteeing that only the best specimens of the moment will compete for the region's most exclusive award: the lifetime MW (Mediterranean Winner) title, officially added to the cat's pedigree. The cats will compete in four categories according to morphology and coat type, plus a house cat category, through individual judging, nominations and the climactic Best in Show. The 2026 edition marks a milestone as the first held in the Region of Murcia, strengthening the region's projection as a host of first-class international events. In Spain it is organized under the auspices of ASFE.
