Ficoba Reports 20% Growth in Trade Fairs and 31% Rise in Visitors for 2025, Reinforcing Role as Regional Strategic Hub

Ficoba, the trade fair venue of Gipuzkoa in the Basque Country, has released its 2025 annual performance report, confirming strong growth across all key indicators. The venue hosted 270 events throughout the year attended by more than 191,000 people — a 31% increase compared to the 145,000 registered in 2024. Trade fairs specifically grew by 20%, rising from 15 to 18 editions. Occupation reached 336 days, up from 320 in the previous year. Financially, Ficoba reported revenues of 2.22 million euros, closing the year with a 2.5% positive balance, and generated an estimated economic impact of 44.6 million euros on the surrounding territory. Looking ahead to 2026, the venue will host new additions including Lanauto professional vehicle trade fair and the fifth edition of MUBIL Mobility Expo, among other returning events.
